Ayala School Site Council and PTSA meeting on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at 6:00.  Our special guest will be Mr. Wayne Joseph, Superintendent of CVUSD.  We hope that you will be able to attend.
Students electing to park in areas other than the Ayala School Site are subject to citation, towing, and any fees associated. Only park in the Ayala School parking areas with a current school year permit.

Key Club Announcements
Celebrating the Library's 1st Birthday~!
What better way to give back to our new library then helping them out at their birthday party? There will be several opportunities for you Keyclubbers to help out at this event. there will be special crafts, activities, entertainment, and a treasure hunt for us to help out with.

Show up on time; don't be late.

When: Saturday, February 27th
Where: Chino Hills Library
Shift 1: 11-12:30 PM, Set-Up (4 KCers)
Shift 2: 12:50-4:45 PM, Event/Clean-up (30 KCers)
***Members can receive additional hours if they wear a costume like a Disney character, etc. More details to come.***

Feb 2nd-- Officer Open Meeting, come after the general meeting with us to see how we work.
Feb 9th-- APPS DUE, no exceptions at all

Introducing Key Club's Charity Club Carnival
On April 16th, from 5-8 PM, Key Club will be holding a Charity Club Carnival in the MPR with proceeds to go to St. Jude's Childrens' Hospital. We will be inviting all clubs to showcase themselves and also fundraise, but donate 1/5 of their revenue to St. Jude's. There will be set-up 2 hours before and after the event. We will be needing your help to prepare and we will also be needing some facepainters. Keep your ears and eyes open for new announcements.
It's that time of year again.. for fundraising!
Sour Gummy Worm boxes have arrived for you guys to sell. Those on probation MUST sell a box!! Come pick one up AFTER the meeting this Tuesday. There is a limited quantity so get yours soon.
Key Club Officers (2010-2011 School Year)!
Interested in becoming a Key Club Officer for the 2010-2011 school year?! If so, the KC Officer Application is now available under the Downloads section. Please print it out, complete it, and turn in with an UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT after the meeting on Tuesday, February 9, 2010!

It is a great opportunity and we hope to see your applications soon!

Heads up to all Keyclubbers! The deadline to have accumulated at least EIGHT(8) hours is nearing. We will set the deadline date for mid-December. As we stated in the Key Club membership form, we required each member to volunteer 5 hours every 2 months or be put on probation. Well, the time has come and once the Membership Officers calculate everyone's hours they will be posted along with the list of those on Probation. Get your hours while you can!

Country Springs Teacher Assisting & Campus Clean-ups
Country Springs Elementary School has requested the aid of Keyclubbers to assist teachers and also help clean up its campus. Members are urged to help out whenever they can and this is a good way to earn those hours as this event continues weekly.

When: Mondays thru Thursdays, whichever days, beginning at 3 P.M. Members are to meet at the flagpole/find the Vice Principal, Mrs. Fellows.
Where: Country Springs Elementary School

UPDATE: We'd like to extend a huge THANK YOU to everyone who participated in the AA Fundraiser. We raised $555 for PTP! We have just found out that D15 has to work with another ordering company, so it has been delayed for an undeclared amount of time. We appreciate your patience, we will send out an e-mail as soon as they arrive!
